Mindfully Molded
Connection, Coffee and Clay
Service Description
Updated_ Rainy Day Update - The hike will no longer be part of this experience. This day is designed to weave together mindfulness, movement, food, and creativity—leaving you grounded, inspired, and connected to both nature and yourself. We’ll begin at 9:30am in Cupids with a mindful hike along the breathtaking Burnt Head Trail. Here we’ll slow down, breathe deeply, and forage treasures from the land—leaves, bark, flowers, and stones—that will later find their way into your art. Next, we’ll gather at the beautiful Convent in Brigus for a nourishing lunch of your choice: homemade soup, sandwich, quiche, and a cozy hot beverage. After lunch, we’ll move to the Newfound Pottery Studio – Coastal Gems, where lead potter Emily Paget will guide us through a Slab-Built Spoon Rest Workshop. Using the natural textures from our morning walk, you’ll create and decorate your own spoon rest—mindfully molded with your own hands. No experience is needed, only your presence, curiosity, and love of nature and art. You’ll walk away with more than pottery—you’ll carry the memory of a fall day molded into your heart.
